RX2 is a double working rod seal with positioning function. This seal is able to separate 2 media like oil and gas. It is normally used in hydraulic accumulator systems. The special shape makes it impossible for medium to pass in a static and dynamic situation. It can also be used in other fluids when the wright compound is chosen. However it contains elements that might be changed with other compounds before you are able to apply it with other fluids. Please ask your AST representative for information.
Max. Velocity is 3 m/s also depending on the material used and the medium it is working in.
