The Flat O-Ring Profile + Pad Profile is an inflatable profile combination made to have a medium expansion in combination with a very high pressure for large pressure differences. It is a high pressure seal because the pressure activating part is completely locked into the groove. It can be mounted in a groove construction. Because of the locked in principle, it is able to seal against a relatively high pressure difference.
Note that the Flat O-Ring Profile + Pad Profile can only be used for axial sealing situations.
