The 1090 (FMC) Spring Filled O-Ring is an inflatable gasket seal originally designed and engineered by FMC Corporation. Unfortunately, FMC discontinued production of these inflatable gaskets. The inflatable gasket seal is made with a Polyurethane outer shell with a stainless steel inner spring and is used in four-way diverter valves in smith meter, in its groove the seal can withstand hydraulic pressures of up to 700psi/50 Bar in a closed environment.
